304 & 305 Inks into my Collection

Another day, another package from a far off pen shop. This package of two Canadian Exclusive Noodler's inks started its journey at Wonder Pens in Toronto.

I am a fanatical collector of Noodler's inks so when I heard Brad Dowdy mention that he was given a bottle of a Noodler's Canadian exclusive I went searching.

It turns out there were two Canadian exclusives available, and I had to have them.

Blue Upon the Plains of Abraham refers to a battle between the English and the French in 1759 on the outskirts of Quebec. The detailed label art bares that out - I don't think the Canadian flags are period correct though.

Raven Black the second exclusive takes it name and imagery from the Edgar Allan Poe poem "The Raven".

Blue Upon the Plains of Abraham is a good dark blue.

Whilst Raven Black doesn't look a particularly black black on the swab I think it will be from the nib.
